Writing on Inspiration Only

Writing is an extremely important art form. Can you imagine an artist drawing or painting a picture, without being inspired to do so? Would a sculptor? Then, why would a writer want to write that way?

Unfortunately, it is done all the time and much of what a reader has to read, is not written on inspiration.

What is written may be the direct result of a task that has been assigned to someone. When the writer's heart is not in his or her work, it may feel more like a chore that has to be completed, than something that brings him or her joy.

Sometimes, but not always, the writer is paid for his or her efforts, but is that enough? Does the writer finish his or her work feeling happy or satisfied? Not always.

What does this do to the overall quality of writing? Will an uninspired writer have the same level or degree of creativity, that is manifest in the works of a writer, who writes only on inspiration? Probably not.

There is a better way for writers to become truly creative writers and that is to 'write on inspiration only, especially when it pertains to love.'
